mk5a (or mk6 depending on what way you look at it) 1.8 zetec.
lots of other chavvy cars, best one though was a BMW 320 older shape about an h plater.
He thought he was the daddy, revving his car and everything with his exhaust sounding like a bag of crap, left him standing.. turns out he was a notoriously shit driver.

kept up with a bright yellow evo 6, until police came storming up behind, luckily they didn't pull us over, just was in a rush to get to somewhere else.

with me old spec (170bhp) i could keep up with civic type R's easily enough....done a mistibushi FTO(200bhp) from a standin start, in fact nothin under 200bhp would make me look silly! When me new engine's setup (should be runnin around the 230bhp mark) i'll be hopin to see off some bigger bhp cars!

BMW M3 cabrio (beat), Porsche Carrera 4 (matched), Porsche Boxster (beat), Subaru Impreza (several beaten), Civic Type R (anhilated) and some silly little boy who thought his 106 GTi would outrun me

Scalped loads of things but have also been wasted by some stuff so it goes to show you

Beat a Focus 2.0 today.

Getting my car setup tomorrow with chip and new -31 actuator. Powers engineering sed looking for about 170-180bhp if not more according to how healthy your engine is.

Scoob and BMW drivers are my fave. My missus has the bug now and likes upsetting the Scoob lads in the FRST. They look pissed at being beaten by an old Fiesta and their faces drop like a stone when they realise it's a lass driving.

I love my missus

perhaps thedrivers of these scoobys and m3s dont want to waste there time racing a 17year old escort....

most of the scoobys made after 97 are capable of running o-60 in 5.5 seconds or less (the sti will do it in 4.9 as standard) and those are figures for standard cars (how many standard scoobys have you seen???). as far as im awarethere is only one or two rs turbos able to run 0-60 in under 5 seconds.

it stands to reason that the drivers of these cars are either very shit or dont wanna race...

beat a corsa with a turbo calibra block, few type r's for fun, had a good race with a chipped R32 edged him out, impreza WRX very very close but he would of edged me past around 120, countless nova's, saxo's, 106 & 206 GTI's, beat an old shape M3 evo but lost to the E46....

but my favorite has been beatin a skyline GTS who ran his mouth non stop around our area as havin the fastest car, he couldn't drive and his car was slow...buy a GTR then we'l talk

when cars back on the road i'l have bigger fish to fry

I doubt he raced him from a standing start and im sure if its a rolling start then a S2 with 250bhp will give most UK spec scoobys a run for there money!

Thank you Gary

Once rolling most Impreza's run out of puff. I've never raced an M3 in the Fiesta, only ever in the Escort. And there are dozens of Subaru's round here. Most of which appear to be standard. Mate of mine owned a 270bhp 94 WRX and he has admitted that once rolling he can't keep up. It's simple good old fashioned power to weight

Not had the chance to race anything on the new spec yet apart from a boxter down the M1 but i ran out of gears (5th is knackered) but no competition

Most imperssive car i had race me was a Audi RS6? Pushed mine down the MK/A5 slip road and just dispeared into the distance down the A5..... awsome! Running around 260bhp at the time.

i thought they were 450 and easily tuned. no way a car with 200bhp less is going to pull away from a rs6

Not really raced much cos the cars standard. I had a go at an Astra GTE redtop 2 weeks ago. Silly mistake! Pushed me all the way along the bypass! Seemed a very quick car
