Hey, my 1989 rst has been hit on the drivers side quarter panel, does anybody know roughly how much this will cost as the panel is creased and the rear light cluster will need replacing, as i'm worried that it will get ridden off by the insurance company!

cant see the pic mate. im guessing if its bent they will write it off but just get a quote from a bodyshop and get it fixed. if u can afford it that is

 

you cannot get original ford rear quarters anymore. i fitted both n/s and o/s quarters on mine and they where pattern parts but they are a really good fit. they cost about Ł125.00 a side and any good welder would charge about Ł150.00 for fitting, then there is your painting on top of that. hope this helps

 

Can't see any damage in your pics but I'm afraid you will have a fight on your hands to get them to repair it. In their eyes it's a 14 year old Escort and therefore worth fuck all.

 

The insurance company wont fix it mate they will wright it off as it will be uneconomical for them to pay for the repair's to be done your best bet is to let them right it off get the money for the car then buy it back from them and get it repaired or brake it for parts
