Default problem ( clonking noise) 4x4

rear of car drivers side @ 1mph a clonk that gets qiucker with speed until 30ish then cant hear it (PROBABLY DUE TO EXHAUST)

dont do it when rolling 20 to 0mph with the clutch down?

now ive got it jacked up no wheel bearing play,

the drive shafts should move in and out long ways slightly? am i right?

but not up and down atall? if so there seems to be some up and down play in the side the noise is?

does this seem right, am i correct in whats said?

cheers

Check all drive shafts, including the front joint make sure they are all greased up ta fook!

Mine started out like this, then was doing 150mph and the whole thing blew off and took the sump, gearbox, clutch, prop, diff etc all with it...was a mess...

Fil - the driveshafts do move in and out yes - this is due to the free space becomeing less between the hub and the diff when the wheels get further into the arch at the back

Mine was clunking from the rear, it was the hex headed bolts on the inner cv joint had come loose! Tighten them up, was ok!

Could be the heatshield between the box and exhaust catching on the prop

Mine did this recently till I beat the shit out of it
