Anyone know what a mk1 escort twin cam is worth, and if there are any for sale at the moment? Changing jobs so going to be getting the bus to work so thinking of changing the cossy for a older car and always wanted one of these.

Twink was only ever a Lotus engine. BDA was RS1600

 

There was a really nice original RS1600 at Ace Cafe a few months back at that was 14k

Seen one on Flee-Bay recently and that was 16k


So you probably will get a decent Twin Cam for around the 10k mark



The only problem with that is you find that you cant enjoy it for fear of bending it.....

Ma old ma has one their manuals. Its the orginal ford effort in brand new cond-wonder what someone would pay for that eh????

 

only 8 t/c' left! ,i think there is more than that,i know of at least 6 not far from me

 

rumor has it that there is only 8 genuine t/c's left that are road legal and registered with dvla, there is only 1 in scotland!!!! and i own it!!!! genuine 13k from new and i'm the second owner from new.
