ive changed the sensor today, but im wondering if it could be faulty, although it was a gen ford item.but would it cause it to fill the cylinders with fuel?

im thinking coolant sensor may be at fault.ill check it tomorrow and maybe put the old one back in.ive never seen this before though where it fills up the pots on cranking.when checking for a spark the fuel from in the cylinder ignited!!!!!fook me!
he wants to go stage 3 tomorrow anyway so i may get the ecu checked, just to be safe when i get the greens, chip and map sensor from collins.
