I think the key thing you are missing form that diagram is the importance of driving a yellow car 
In fairness the angle of the wheels in the pictures are accurate, so i guess thats something, but its hardly enough to "get you started" at drifting

I remember my first drift in the Evo on the Nordschleife...once the corner (Ex-Mühle) was behind me, I still had the rear out, and had no idea how to get it back...I just had to grit my teeth and keep the pedal planted. It slowly came back, until an angle where I thought it would be OK - so I let the throttle off. It gained traction and did a big wobble but I continued on...what a great experience
I find the hardest part is fighting the natural reaction to steer into the slide in order to catch the rear again just as it starts to go (causing the infamous 'arse twitch')
