went to leeds 2night for the launch of the focus ST there was a lad there with a white S2 supposed to be runnig 275bhp ( standard engine MFI 4 injetors ) holding 24psi reg was JAM*** not sure on the rest.. took my mate out innit and it was holding 24psi but was popping and banging sounded overboosty and very misfirey.. anyone know this car?? was a real nice thing like chrome everywere and a MASSIVE amount of ice there were no bag seats just amp, subs and speakers

saw a pic of it in a fast ford /performance ford mag not too long ago just in the readers cars , said it had a big spec ice ect dnt know anymore about it mate , seemed clean in the pic ,

number plate reading jameel??? white with khans?? hes from round my end he has the paper work to prove however hes got a shit tuner well lane turbo centre who have a very bad reputation and i agree the car pops and smokes like fook

 

when i bought my series two, it came wiyth well lane turbo conversion number plates and a docket saying they mapped it, bought the car from darlington, kent.

should i have it remapped if there shit?

car does smoke alot when cold (only fuel no oil

 

the car looks abit ott its been re sprayed and everything and the install is due to it being a kenwood demo car dont see how tho as most of the time its up on the ramps at well lane whenever i talk to him something always seems to be blowing up last week it was his gearbox He told me it was 240bhp and showed me the graph and spec sheet, it certainly doesnt go like one il tel you that.

zippyobrien yes i would take it to a good reputable tuner for a good setup mate

 

cheers bud, have had loads of problems trying to get it running properly, was backfireing like fook when i got here and running 22 psi on the standard intercooler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

well lane are only down the road from me and believe me i have seen some terrible things i have also known people who have gone for upgrades and later found their engines to be totally standard the best was a friend of mine who had some of his original ford parts replaced with some cheap parts so stay well a way people

 

cheers for the heads up mate, i reckon a poll should be started on tuners to avoid, obviousely some sort of proff would be required before slaging them off.

yeah thats the say's it's running 275BHP standard engine 4 injectors, was saying he owns a MK1-MK2-MK3 and the turbo says its running nos and that he owns loads of buisness's and had just bought a pub for 200K....
