JUST BOUGHT OIL PRESSURE GAUGE 2DAY (ELECTRIC PSI )CAN I USE THE WIRE THAT GOES TO ME OIL PRESSURE SWITCH TO WRK IT,OR HOW DO I DO IT

 

you should use the sender unit that came with the gauge and wire how the instructions tell you!!

 

i got one of these, you need a 3 way adaptor which you can get off burton power/performance (bout £3)?

you unscrew oil feed pipe (braided one) and fit the 3 way adaptor and screw your pressure sender (one that came with gauge) and your oil feed line into it. will take a picture of my setup if you want.

then you wire it to the back of the gauge.

get some silicone sealant or something to put on the thread when tightening it back up or you will get leakage!

 

HAVE ONLY GOT THE GAUGE SECOND HAND NO INSTRUCTIONS WAS TOLD I COULD USE THE WIRE THAT GOES TO THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH

you can try but it probably wont work!! wouldnt advise on the 3 way adaptor that uses the turbo feed idea,go for a 2 way one and use the original switch so you can keep the dash light,the gauge sender and the original switch will go into the adaptor. use PTFE tape on the threads so it seals. but all this is usless if you dont have the proper sender
