They have just canvassed the misses about selling the Golf and she gave them 70 pound they said they had 5 people with 7k cash ready to buy and if it did not sell in a week they would make a full refund I fucking hate canvassas

i had all them nobers phone me when i advertised my car in autotrader.they told me they had 5 buyers waiting e.t.c. wich is bull because i wonder how many people phoned them up looking for a white 1974 beetle with purble flames airbrushed all over the front end

very well known scam mate sadly (obviously not THAT well known tho!)

got them every day when i sold mine, wind the fuckers back up put phone on the side walk away etc....

even had a lengthy chat with some asian guy, i told him he wants to get a better job where he's not ripping people off.......he told me he's tried but no one else will employ him PMSL

I got caught out with these little fookers 5 year ago , when i knew fook all about cars,


I was desperate to sell my car and they said they had 11 people on theyre books looking for a car exactly like mine ,

They even said that if the car didnt sell in 6 months id get a weekend break somewhere , never heard from them again

If they were so confident then take 70 pound after it's sold not before i feel sorry for my misses as she is all upset about spending 70 pound on this when she thought it was in all innocence and coming up to christmas it's not like we want to throw money away either

I had this problem aswell.

With me it was a company called cardata.

They always rung my mobile, never my home phone!!

I was getting up to five calls a day so in the end i said "hold on i will just get my credit card" i then put my phone in the drawer and walked away.

She held on for 5 minutes before she worked out i wasnt coming back!! lol

Thats the only way to get your own back on the f*ckers!!, absolute scammers!!

At least i added a bit to their phone bill!!!!

 

Another company called up today and said they had 9 people very interested she told them to Fuck of was caught like this yesterday and am not getting stung again good bye,

You can stop these companies from ringing you by registering somewhere, I'll try and find the link.

Both my sons had constant calls about cars they were selling , then after registering NO CALLS at all. Companies get fined for each call they make if you are on the list.

We had a company call up and they can be really really pushy and aggresive. When I told the guy I wasn't interested he got all shirty and said "Well do you want to sell your car or not?" I told the prick to fuck off. Mate got screwed when he was selling his Scoob earlier this year but they done him for Ł90. Once they have your cash you will hear nothing from them again and have no hope of getting any money back
