Default Saw Oasis last night

What can I say, still as good as ever

Turned up to the festival hall here to find all the Brits from Melbourne, mainly backpackers I guess, had emerged from the woodwork.

Was like being back in England

A couple of Irish guys decide to hold up an Irish flag only to recieve chants of "put it away ya wanker" and a group decided to start chanting "Oasis" to which they recieved "we know who we are here for!"

There were reebok classics galore

The majority were Brits there but at 34 degrees outside, it was even hotter inside with no air conditioning so the sweat was just running.

Noel made a joke about the Ashes which resulted in a large amount of booing

They played for about 75mins I think and played mainly the older hits. I was a bit sceptical after reading about their UK tour music but was an awesome night and a great atmosphere.

Diamonds - JK would have been awesome to see

Red16 - I hadnt seen them before but had mates who saw them at Wembley in 2000 and said they were superb. I was very impressed. A definate sign of quality IMO is them sounding similar live to the album not any enhanced crap with their voices.

Nice one mate,

I saw them this year in Hampden, Glasgow and then on Tuesday night in the Hordern Pavilion, Sydney!!!

I know what you mean about the Brits, but then I amk doing the same thing!!

Absolutely the best Live Band in the World bar none as far as I am concerned!!!

They are back in Glasgow in 2 weeks too......... wish I could just follow them round the world haha
