its a tamiya TL-01....mate is starting up a race meet on thursdays and we are all running the same cars, same motors, etc, etc so i have bought one on ebay...... cheap as bloody chips!!!!

question is.......DOES ANYONE HAVE A SPARE ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROLLER kicking about????

i had a tamiya calsonic skyline , loved to donut
and i threw away a speed controller when i sold the skyline, opps, still was a great buy cos i bought it new, sprayed it caned it and sold it for a profit

what shell you got? get a 3dr shell and make it fit a tamiya chaisis

loads of skylime shells on ebay, i had a contact in Hongkong that can sort ya out sill cheap, but havent spoken to him for yonks will see if i still got his digits

 

erm www.agmodels.co.uk search on there for a cheap esc and they give everybody a 10% discount on parts and also a 3dr shell wont fit on a 1/10th shell because they only made them in supersized 1/10th for old kyosho car. escort cossie shell's will fit but good ones are ard to find

with some of the new motors you can buy now say a 7x1 team orion v2 geared on low ratio and decent batteries some of these cars could easily out acclerate a great deal or s1-2s's but obdviously the car would catch up eventually
