Default Whats this camcorder like?

Been looking for a camera to take some videos and pics, had a look at a few in the shops and compared prices with secondhand ones and ebay etc..

Looks tiny but is that a good thing?

Any help would be great.

Panasonic make excellent home electronics would take their equipment over SONY without thinking twice. My bro used to work for Comet and they had very few Panasonic/Technics items back as faulty.

I've also got on very well with my Cannon

The SOny Camcorders are very good and come with Karl Zeiss lenses (which are the bollocks). From people I knwo in the electronics trade (one who was a SONY Centre manager) I have always been advised to give a very wide birth.

Saying that I have a SONY DVD player and PS2 and both have been trouble free.

Panny if you want a Plasma TV and Sony for camcorders - just what I've found in my experience.

I have a Sony DCR-TRV19e for about 2 years now and it's been fecking brilliant, no problems with dirt on heads or anything and I've been on some very dusty days at rallycross etc. and as Eagle said, the lens on them is brilliant!

I don't see a need to change it even though it's 'old' tech. now

Just my personal experience though - I do look after my equipment though which I think helps my stuff to last longer! Alot of stuff returned to retail outlets is due to people dropping them or just generally not looking after stuff!

If you need accessories for your camera then get onto www.7dayshop.com

Cheers,

Andy
