were goin away for a weekend next march for my mates 30th to either york or newcastle

whats either place like for nightlife / things to do in the day ???

ive heard york nightlife is a bit spread out is that right ???

Only ever been on the piss round york during the day, a lot of pubs but is spread out yes.

York and Newcastle are two good nights out, i been out to both, more Newcastle than York tho.

Newcastle Quayside for a night out is excellent, plenty of bar's and some good nightclubs, Baha's is probs best out the lot, i would not recommend the boat, as it stinks !!

York, we headed round a few bars in the city then got a taxi to a nightclub called Ikon / Diva in the middle of an industrial estate ! Good nightclub tho, music for everyone
