rs 500 t4 turbo hybrid spec or a roller bearing turbo but still t4 whats stronger

 

both EXACTLY the same RS500 spec T4 but one has a rollerbearing core and one has plain bearings?

as if you comparing two different turbos both called T4 but not both RS500 spec then itd be impossible to answer

 

Roller bearings are stronger than thrust bearings. BUT, if a thrust bearing goes, it can be replaced. If the roller-bearing goes, it scraps the whole core .
