What'd you reckon? - Three up at the time?

somewhere about 450bhp?

Not too much more than the standard 3 door. I would guess at about an indicated 165-170mph

standard running gear and rev limit will do about 176mph I think
and by running gear I don't mean the engine just the diff/box ratio

Does the RS500 have a different limiter and top cog / diff ratio from a 2wd saph?

If not, then 157mph

Hmmmm, thanks lads most interesting, i assume that'll be about 160-170 ish indicated then?

My cossie is well out on GPS!

I had an old mk3 astra SRI that used to show nearly 130mph, but it was only about 116 off the GPS.

The most accurate one I've tested is my MK2 ST-24 which is always 2-3mph out, even at well over a tonne
