Problem with my Punto!

I thought somebody may be able to help!

When the car is cold it will stutter badly for the first 5 minutes! IT is a 1.2 16v and I just wondered what it could be?

You will have your foot on the accelerator but it will just lose power then it will cut in again!

1.2 punto? Wouldn't you need power first to loose it?

Sorry.

Is this only when it's cold? and how hard are you on the throttle?

Is the choke working?

try changing plugs or just let it heat up for a few mins before driving

could be the ecu as there was a recall on them!!

Had the same problem wite 2 Tipo`s ive had...

Theres a little fuel ECU that goes on them.ours went after about 75k...

sounds EXACTLEY like the prob u have....
