Default Best for Mapping Cossie's in Essex/Kent

Hi all,

I am looking to get my car mapped, and am unsure who to trust.

I am not sure I want my car being live mapped on the road, not sure I like the idea of someone else nailing my car (or am I being a geek here ! )
I'vwe spoken to engine advantages, but wanted to talk to the main man Mr Hills, who is never around and won't return my calls!

What do I do guys and girls ?

Thanks

Weeksy

Just get a bit nervous with someone else canning my car, call me a faggot!

It's mint and prefect, and would someone else be as careful with it as me?!

At least you know Tommy will cane your car "professionally"

To be fair, surely it's better that something lets go while Tommy is "gently testing" the car for you rather than half way down the A130 once you've picked it up !?!

Physically safer for the mapper yes , but if it were me I'd rather have the car mapped out on the road where it will actually be used.

probably best to map it on the rollers then double check it on the road.

Tommy could always take the engine out and throw it on the engine dyno to map, but I reckon it could take an even bigger pasting on the dyno than it would in car out on the road !

I'd rather drive it into the crouch!! We don't see eyed to eye remember!

If I send you some pics by mail, can you load em up for me?

Cheers

Breaking traction in 3rd in the wet loving every fucking minute of it mate

When it is somebody elses car people either a suggest what they do with theres or suggest what they think is best based on very little experience,

Only the damage to your wallet if it goes wrong will make you not do something again,

I have had my old rst on the rollers 3 times and never had a car that could be live mapped, but imho for what it's worth think that live mapping is far more realistic to what the car needs,

But it is your car, your nerves and not mine or anybody elses

Follow your brain not somebody elses

Stu @ Motorsport Developments or Karl @ Norris Motorsport. They would be the only people I'd use. I would base my desision on location at all.

Chris - These pictures look like the ones Andy K showed me recently !?!

Scott - Presume you only recently had the engine built - who put it together ?

Edd

P.S. Tommy may test the cars thoroughly, but I don't think he has many of his engines ever fail.
