erst, gear link after doin clutch

Default erst, gear link after doin clutch

after puttin a new clutch in im finding it hard to get the gears to work right , i now its to do with the gear link under the car , iv tryed putin it in reverse first then putin the gear link back on, and putin it in 4th then putin the gear link on , it seems am going to have to fuck about with it till its right , the haynes manual tells you to put in in 4th ..
putin it in 4th makes reverse to far over to the left hitin the seat, what have other peeps done

i have it in Neutral that normally does it but sometimes it tends to work from 3rd.....it can sometime go perfect straight away but sometimes its a real coooont of a job

trial and error now m8 since you never marked the linkage with a scriber before you loosened the linkage

If you've put the same box back in you should be able to see where the old linkage was on the shaft.

It'll be shiny and then rusty where the split is on the rod, the hole in the shaft will be more or less in line with the bolt (same angle)

I've put them in 3rd before then tightened it up.
