is there a dress code on most places or anything anyone know?

going tomorrow and none of us have been out there before.

always dress smart when out in chester as you can get into more of the bars,(some can be quite strict) as for where to go, usually just see whats good when we get there

is it trousers jobby? or dark blue jeans do?
it is races weekend as thats where we're going first!

It's been absolutely ages since I went out around Chester, but from memory of Races weekend, I'd tend to say trousers rather than jeans...
