hi all on my s2 it runs fine from cold no probs
but when it gets warm it seems to hesitate under boost
it will still pull all the way through the gear just hesitate slightly under acceleration pop
some times this happens just as u come on to boost it will pop LOUD out of the exhaust and go a bit flat but does not happen every time u give it large any one got any ideas i think something is breaking down

 

happend on mine too a few times, still dunno why

although it boosts to 12psi when it's set up for 7psi, but it is chipped so i dunno if it's lack of fuel on mine?

or if my plug leads are breaking down as their shit

 

mine did this i changed the plugs and it was fine

 

ive just put oe cossie plugs in about 600 miles ago wonder if the plug gap is wrong anyone know what i should set the gap to?

 

My mate had similar problem with his car sounding like a machine gun turned out to be a dodgy amal valve

my mates pops when he changes gear, but only in 3rd and fourth and only every now and again? still does it. he is still running the amal valve and 10psi, no chip
any ideas,
p.s got standard o91c plugs gaped to 0.75.

my one has no amel valve on it i think it may be plugs or the plug gap but i would not have thought that it would have killed the plugs in 600miles but i could be wrong.

 

i dsone a set of plugs in 500 miles before, shity nkg ones. the fuelling was wrong on the car but they went aqfter around 500miles?

 

Throttle switch?? Mine used to do something similar and I changed the plugs, leads, cap, rotor arm and even put a bigger wire into the fuel pump!!

Undone the two screws for the throttle switch turned it back till it clicked and then put it back to the original position and that sorted it out!!

Always worth checking!
