happly drivng along and sum lad in a pug gets up me ass not really bothered till hes up next to me in the other lane and goes for it i must have been in the wrong gear but seemed like forever for the turb to cut in o and didnt win either pug106gti

is there anything that would help i can do to the engine ???

What you experainced wasn't turbo lag...but the fact you were in the wrong gear!!

You lost to a bird in a 106 GTi shoping trolley. Best think you can do is sell the car and buy a Volvo

Try harder next time. Turbo won't spool up till about 2500-3000rpm. Drop it a cog and then watch her get very small very quick in your rear view mirror

Its because you drive like my Nan on a sundy. Wind that boost up drop down a gear and spin them rims. Thats what owning a turbo is all about.
