new to the forum, just thought i'd say hi. was wondering if anyone would
be able to tell me roughly how much power i should have with these mods:

its a series 2 rs turbo with dump valve, grs front intercooler, magnex exhaust system, stage 1.5 airesearch hybrid turbo and its running standard boost, booked in for rolling road and tune up cos it is'nt runing right

any guesses how much power i should see?

2. Take the dumpvalve off. Despite the bollocks that is frequently bandied about the KE Jetronic system does not like them and they offer no added protection what-so-ever on the vast majority of road cars.

3. I would guess around the 130-140 mark. Chip the bugger and get the boost and fueling sorted and you should see a healthy improvement

 

agree with oranoco, specially about the dump valve take it off

right, i had my car setup recently at jamsport, 10psi, magnex, piperx, made 148bhp and 168 lbft. get it set up and you should see similar

was 112 or something before setup, and was slow as fook!



get a chip mate, esp with the 'cooler

 

any recomendations on the chip and where i can get one?

try power engineering , there southern and got a good rep ,
if you can get the cash together to get it cipped when ur going to get it set up it might save you cash in the long run ?

just noticed all the posts, thanks for your help guys. turns out my ecu was chipped after, power engineering told me my s2 ecu is playing up got 140 then 160bhp on the rollers, then tried a chipped s1 ecu on there and got a 178bhp. so im now on the lookout for a chipped s1 ecu and a tune up.
