Assuming the car is chipped:

-31 actuator and either a Kent CVH35 cam/Piper 285 (not T2) and vernier pulley.

Newman cams are supposed to be very good but I've not actually used one to comment properly

It's chipped then.

If it's an uprated turbo I would be gobsmacked if it's a standard actuator. I would expect a -31 to be allready present.

AT the power level you are at I would now lookat intercoolers before cams

In that case mate as I said look at an intercooler for it. The diddy Pace job isn't much better than standard. GRS do a nice one that works very well on the S1

Will have a look for won the previous owner said the actuator was standard it does have a 2 stage boost switch fitted runs 5psi low and 15psi high thats what boost gage says anyway how can you tell if the actuator is standard or -31?

The actuator will prob be a -31 - u cant really tell by looking.

There is no need to change the actuator for the sake of it - it appeard to be doing it's job. As for the cam, it depends on the turbo u have. You say hybrid, but that could mean anything. If it's a 0.36 exhasut housing, i'd put a CVH 35 Kent cam in, they work very well. If it's a 0.48 housing, then either a new std one, or the Piper 285T.

Rick.
