Default Injector wiring.

i've been lookin at my airinj wirin,

and i noticed thiers a + sign on one side of the inj,


Wot happens if they are connected the other way round?

nope never tried it,, but i know some ecu's reverse current to shut large injectors faster

cheers mate.

while i've got your attention, did you connect your loom earth wire to your 5 bar map, as 3 bar needs to be earthed, but the 5 bar dont look like it does.

i know one thing,,, its bloody cold in my garage

well done G, there coils, will work both ways.
that depnds on what they are moving with a coil

what about a piece of megnatized iron?

They put a plus sign on i suspect to give people,who are wiring them up from scratch,less to think about!If you think about its a good move because how many people would realise it dont matter which way round it goes

i guess so mate.


map sensors fitted and workin ,

have to swap 2 + 3 terminals round.

now reads upto 51.5 psi boost, instead of 29.4psi of my old 3 bar. and with in 1 psi from 0-51psi compared to 3 boost gauges i have.

I dont think MAP sensors HAVE to be earthed do they?

What should be the result of a map sensor not being earthed?
