Default Speed trap detectors

I've recently been clobbered with 6 points and am currently wriggling out of another 3, though it was wise to invest in a detector of some sort.
I'm after something which uses GPS and also looks out for the mobile laser traps.

I know that the Road Angel 2 and one of the snooper models does this but are there any that perform better than others or are better value for money?

How much did it cost?
How does it alert you, does the disply change colour or does it beep or something?

yes it beeps, changes colour (blue to red) and flashes when you get within 100m you cant miss it! you can tone it down if its too much but we always have it on max colour/flash and about 80%volume
