Default My Ebony black Cossie rebuild

This was the car when I first got it:

When I got the car it had issues but I was not sure how bad they were until I started to investigate. First I removed the head and it soon became clear that this was a complete rebuild. See pics below

Pistons had too much movement

Clutch and flywheel were totally shot from slipping the clutch by previous owner

Un-healthy launches tend to do this to standard engine mounts !

Engine all out ready for rebuild

Pics below of some of tha parts I put into the rebuild

rods all balanced with crank new clutch and flywheel

I had the pistons pocketed for possible future plans

After the rebuild at USC and trax 8)

rough spec is :

Cosworth 200 block
L&B bottom end
Mahle pistons
bronze valve guides
Group N gasket and bolts
Alcon 6 paddle clutch plate and cover
All new sensors
Green 803 injectors
T34 hybrid Turbo
Mongoose complete system
all bushes replaced with powerflex
Koni adj dampers
Custom Leda springs
Stil Auto 16 " wheels

recently RR'd at 371BHP and 389lb torque
So far have been to the pod once and managed a 13.2 1/4 mile with all my stereo equipment in the car. pretty sure the car will pull into 12's with someone who knows how to drive

Good pics m8

Had the same trouble with the engine mounts on my old 4x4

371 bhp on greens is a high power output

Lots of people argue about the greens issue but pleanty are running upto 380 on them. I had mine RR'd at PE who are usually fairly accurate but to be honest I was only expecting abut 350, all I know is it put in the numbers at the pod
