Default Alternative to Ford track contol arms? (cossie)

The ball joints are either shit or it's my driving? What's available instead of the ford stuff?

Think youve posted in the wrong room mate!

if your going to replace them, why not go for the adjustable TCA's.

Not that its going to solve your problem of destroying the ball joints if your going thru those on a regular basis.

Rog,
I had a serious wobble while going round a right hand bend on the dual carrigeway but if i floored it (not recomended) the wobble would disapeer. Traced it back to a ball joint. Think the Ford ones are quite hard to get anyway so id go for the adjustable TCA's.

Yeah that's what's been happening mate, i replaced both sides again and i've done about 1k miles and one of them has gone AGAIN, same happened last time, i busted one after about 3 weeks! How's the escort coming along????? I think i seriously need to think about a rebuild for the saph, i changed the turbos but she seems to be using oil again.

It just hit 101k the other day, and it's been stage 3'd since about late 60 or 70k ish i think, i got it at 83k and it was done then anyway. What kinda g/box oil do you use???? my box is a bit notchy but it's only done about 8kmiles so i was gonna change the oil.

I just use the standard stuffy that you get from Ford. never had a problem but the box will get notchy with age and running stg3.
When i rebuild the Escort i will prob go for a Quaife box though as im not using it every day so the noise wont really be a problem
