Default series 1 doesnt like starting

hi, when i start my rs from cold it just splutters the first couple of tries like its flooding? is there a nack to startin them?! ive only just bought it

sounds like it needs set up mate or your cold start valve is fooked

disconnect the blue plug under neathe the inlet plenum and see how it goes then, (cold start valve)

Check there are no little fuel leaks around metering head and electromagnetic pressure actuator, small leaks here will let the fuel pressure drop off and the car won't like starting from first thing.
