Default What turbo to get?

My mates got a series 2 with a stage one chip running 15 psi, the turbo seals have gone so a new turbo is needed. He's unsure what turbo to get, will he get away with a standard re-con, or will he at least need to be running stage 1? Will a stage one make much difference?

Standard should be ok at this level but if it's dead why not upgrade. Stage 2 hybrid will give the 360deg bearing rather than the 270deg item on the standard turbo. This will allow scope for future mods.

Price is about the £700 mark

He's been advised stage one, does that not have a 360?

Would a T28 bolt straight on, and what's the difference?

Cheers for the help BTW!

What's the spec of the T28 then?

What will it flow bhp wise?

I imagine it's less laggy?

Would like to know more!
