........for the first time without the dump valve . Sounds awesome . The only thing is, I thought they were supposed to make your turbo last longer. I'm not going to kill it am I?

Shouldnt think so M8.
I've run every cossie i've had without a dump valve and never really had a problem that has been put down to that

Roller bearing GTs don't like running without a DV, but a T3 / T34 will be fine if that's what you have.

IMO my turbo was never the same after I took my dump valve off, turbo shaft was nice, little play, and I thought you could feel the damage on the blades every time I changed under heavy load, my personal opinion anyway

No fellas , the noise"flutter" it sounded on mine that pressure was being forced back through the blades, didnt sound to healthy thats all Im saying, my turbo was fine with dump valve on , soon as it was off, the shaft became more looser and eventually went,

May not have happened to anyone else but it did to me so...

Being thick, but what sound does it make without the dump valve. Is it just lots more wastegate chatter?

I think thats the best way to describe it.

I'm only running stage one with standard T3 so it should be OK then

Could be wrong but I don't think it's got anything to do with the wastegate. It's just pressure going through the blades of the turbo.
