Hi,

Is there any sort of monthly meeting set up for the north east at all?

Just thought it would be good for everyone to get together once a month to discuss projects, cars & swap advice, oh, and check everyone else's motors out for insperation!

So, is there anything like this, or has there been in the past?

Who would organise it if people were interested?

I helped organise one for the vaux lot when i had my novas / manta / cavalier, that was 4 years ago, its still going now!

Im sure theres an RS meeting at the Arnison Centre once a month,
Best ask Zetec Babe of here, cause she used to organise stuff like that before she moved away, PM her

as Mr Brannen said there was a passion ford/Rs meet but it seams to have fallen by the wayside.

i'd be up for helping out if needed, i live just outside hexham on the A69 but thats no problem

 

As i am a newer user, i wouldnt want to start anything, who is the oldest serving user from the north east willing to take this on?

Should get something up & running again, plenty of Fords around here, just need them in one place at one time

 

as said Zetec babe did start this but then they just kinda stopped.

 

Plus she's down south, so she aint gonna be organising much up here now

 

im up for comin to anything that gets organised,so let me know .Also there is the tyne and wear rs owners club meet at the Dun Cow at Bournmoor nr Fencehouses ,once a month but iv forgot when or are you meaning a meet with other types of cars not just fords?

i'd be interested in either a passion ford meet again on a regualer time table like 2nd sunday of easch month for example or finding out when this tyne and wear meet is, my Xr2 Rst will be done soon and me mate has just got a well decent RS and he'd more than llikely be wanting to come down.

there is a meet at a pub in whickam first wednesday of the month i believe, forget which pub tho

 

is there a good turn out at whickam

its 3rd wed of ev month .fence houses is near mcewans centre Houghton le spring do you know where that is??the one at whickham Red16 is the Durham rsoc but i forgot name of pub,i been ther before and i was new face so i felt a bit left out maybe it was just me if anyone fancy's t&w meet i could meet somewhere and show you's where it is. p.s good turn outs at both events

 

cossiegreg1 ive not been to the whickam meet yet as my RS16i is still in pieces, but once its done i will be the new lad attending regularly not til next year tho.

mcewans centre Houghton le spring - insnt that where the have the hardcore nights(me mates into in canny big) ive never been but im sure i could find it hahaha.

could have a new faces convoy so we dont feel out of place.

I did a couple of Passion Ford meets and Brewster's pub near Arni centre, but never really took off, and before i could organise another one my time was taken up by arranging to move down South.

Well i am from bedlington, which is 20mins north of newcastle.

Hi guys,

I'm the Chairman of the Durham RSOC and we meet at the Woodmans Arms near whickham every 2nd & 4th wednesday of EVERY month even through the winter. We've a really good bunch of guys n gals in the club and have a vast range of cars, few mk1's and 2's, few turbo's, shit loads of saff cossies and escorts, few focuses and loads more.

We do a raffle at every meeting for car stuff and in the summer we have the banners and flags up and do a car of the night trophy

Our next meeting is tomoro night, wednesday 9th november from 7:30pm onwards and the pub does 2 for 1 meals which loads of the guys take advantage of
