Default How much Boost?

On an escort rs turbo with std internals, front mount cooler and a T3 with a 360 thrust bearing? std cam, std bore exhaust with 1 box, is it safe for 17psi?

yeah it'll be fine

Do what they said, get it set up somewhere

Karl Norris pushes his stage 1 to around 17 psi with a front mount have a look on his website it explains it better

my mates tuner told him no more than 16 on standard internals or it'll start to det. low comp pistons together with other mods are needed if you want to take it much further.

My last engine was standard internals and that was run at 17psi. Only failed thanks to a poxy valve sheering at the collet and colliding with the pistons

Mind you had it not failed I wouldn't have built the engine it now has
