..fucking blow up!?

Surely in this day and age we should be making turbos that are maintenance free and last a damn sight longer than they do currently

Yeah, but i didn't mean manufacturere standard

Why can't i run 200psi on a T25! Its just not on!

Seriously though, just looking into getting a hybrid and wanna wind the boost up a tad, but am worried it might blow.

if everything i spec'ed right and maintained there is no need to worry about turbos blowing

turbos are great/clever/simple ides,,, the problem lies in monkeys who dont know what they are doing normally

why will an engine designed to rev to 6k not rev to 10k without blowing up,you would have thought this day in age they could

Run one at its designed boost and give it all it needs ie good pressure, clean feed and good return and it will run for years,in some cases outlast the engine

A 270 degree bearing is officially only rated to around 12psi (depending on manufacturer) yet in the modding world many dont still run within these limits

They prob could make a T25 that does that! but two reason why they dont, Cost would be a fortune and no one really wants to do that
