hi all i am after a bottem lip for my 1988 rst .i have seen a couple rst with them on
i went down to my local ford dealer and the graphics on their computer are crap and i cant tell if thats the one i want
basicly it is a black rubber trim about 80mm in depth and goes on the bottem of the bumper
has anyone got one for sale or has the fin number so i can order one
or has any one got one on there car ,if so can u get the part number of it
if i find a picture of an rs with one on ill post it up as i am having trouble discribeing it
so if anyone has a clue let me know thanks

 

Its called the lower deflector, part number is: F6165909 and cost me £25.65

All it is is a lower rubber strip that goes onto the front bumper, XR3i's have them also! (only applies to the non 90 spec bumpers though)

I got one cos you can see the front anti-roll bar without it, so to cover it i used the deflector.

They do require a bit of bashing to get on cos of the way its used to secure it.

I guess the best thing to do with an 88 spec bumper is to put the deflector on, in a world where people go with 90 spec bumpers.

 

hi mine has a small deflecter about an inch and a1/2
but the one ive seen is prob about 3inches deep is that the one u have

3 inches..never heard of one, unless its the laguna one as akito-man

But mine is about an inch and a half in rubber.
