As a friend I think it is your responsibility as a car enthusiast to point him in the right direction toward car modifying. Afterburner lights are not the way forward on any car...never mind a 1.3 Bonus.

Alternatively, give him encouragement, fit the lights then rip the piss out of him for being a fkwit with afterburners on a 1.3 !!!
