Default Bad Night Last night @ Work

As above Last night @ work was going sh!t and then as i was coming out of Newbury and car in front hit the brakes and stopped as some twat pulled out on him @ VodaPhone Round about , And left me No where to go and in a fully laoded 17t hgv there was no way i could stop

So now my Back is giving me jep and after only 2 days back @ work from being signed off with a bad shoulder

Dam i've been busted

Lorry not to bad front bumper ect the damage to the car was Rear bumper , rear window boot lid ect all lights ect not broke luckily

I was only in the 17tonner luckly the car i hit was from Harrow so they had a cold drive home

I asked them if everyone was ok and they said yes then the driver of the car said "you hit so hard" i fort well yer its 17 tonnes of lorry

I should have finished and been home by 3am but ended up getting back @ 5am All because a car pulled out on the car infront

don't take this the wrong way, but its still your fault as you hit him from behind , and you should have had adaquate spacing to brake, is what the insurance will say. Hope you are all ok and recovering well

Yes m8 i know But the its 17 ton's and the car in front did stop over the line on the round about when he had right of way , But because of the car that pulled out with no indercation (sp) He painiced and stopped

(which i much say i would have probly done the same thing if it was me in the car ) The round about was wet and very slippery I was only doing 20-25km when he stopped so i was'nt going fast ect

Most common type of accident that, hitting someone up the arse cos they "should" be about to pull away at a junction/roundabout, someone who used to wrok for my dad had done it 3 times at last count, sorry to hear mate...

Yer its the first time its happened to me so never mind

in my hgv test they told me that if possable dont stop try and keep the lorry moving as its hard to get a fully loaded lorry to pull away again
