want to know the weight of a escort cab mk3 pref in lbs

I've got one too........
995 kg

2189 pounds

in otherwords it weighs .9774066 of a ton

so.....

Whatever your power output divided .9774066

Ie mine is currently 186 bhp

therefore

186 divided by .9774066

so

my p/w ratio is 190.29951 per ton

So the only every day car that gets near it is.... NONE HaHa

I don't know where you are but if in doubt most council tips will have a weighbridge there and you'll usually be able to grease the guy's palm
with a fiver to weigh it exactly.

Would have thought that the Escort Cab would weigh more than a standard RST, understandably it's not got a roof but the strenghtening that they have because of being topless is far more than a normal hatchback...

Thats light as fook really then, on the above link I posted Ford reckon an RST weighs in at 1380kg or something!

 

Mine weighed in at 960 kg when it was corner weighted at Field Motorsport

 

I weighed mine at 960kg:

Therefore power to weight = 235.41BHP/Tonne

 

Theres a problem with you calcs there mate And you worked it out in Imperial tons [to make it appear higher?? ]

Your ratio is actually 186 BHP/Tonne [metric]
