Default Vibrating Clutch Pedal?

If i drive the car off boost, its fine, as soon as it starts to boost, the clutch pedal becomes possessed, it shakes like a mo fo, making the stalks, brake pedal & pretty much everything else vibrate.

If i put my foot down on the clutch, even a little, it will stop, but release it & off it goes again.

The pedal has been "rebushed" by prev owner, and there is a uprated clutch in there.

Hope someone can give me some ideas, as it really getting on my tits now

many thanks in advance.

Mark.

Hi Mark, that was my brothers car before you and Jay had it.

The pedal is the right one for the car, it's not a mk5 item.

I'll try and find what the make the clutch is.

is the spring in place?

If it is an AP clutch, it really should have the Mark 5 pedal conversion, as AP messed up the design of the release bearing. However, if done properly, the mk5 pedal conversion gives a really nice pick up.

The details are on AP's website, along with part nos etc. Parts won't cost more than a tenner, but it's a bit fidly. Take the drivers seat out, and take your time
