Default Help Needed pics of roll cages in a cossie please

I need pics of any 3 Doors And any saphs with roll cages asap They need to be pic from inside the car Please

As im have lots of problems with mine As i've seen 2 3 Doors with cages and there differnt to my cage i got for the saph cos My front bars come down behind the dash and not in front of the dash

Is there any differnts in them

Alan, saff cage from roll centre requires dash to be cut for front section to between dash and bulkhead,3 dr cage goed down front of dash

I see Mine had a safty devises sticker on it which had been painted over
I got my dash out ect but its not going to plan Its the front half that im having problems with ,

Whot the roof like on the saph cossie with out the head lining in ais it stuck in ect ??? or can i remove it with out any problems ???
As its Rely dirty anyway

Ps is anyone else having with the Emoticons(smilys ect ) there not working for me nore is the Quote button ????

Alan,as Stu says,just cut a bit out of youre dash.Your rollcage is designed to run tight to the A pillar so that it can be welded to the pillar using metal brace's,makes the whole shell alot stiffer.Look at any WRC or modern rally car and they all have youre type of cage.By the way,you dont have to weld the cage to the A pillar,as its a bit hard core for a road car.Regards Micky

safety devices 6 point bolt in

same as a saf one even though its in a 5door

Right I got to have a look @ mine tomorrow AGAIN i can get the front half to sit right its like the front legs are to long And im trying to do it on my own as veryone is out when i need help

Can someone get a pic of one thats fits behind the dash Please


Ps if theres anyone near Reading or Oxford thats up for helpimg give me a shout PLEASE

This is my cage it had a mirror weld onto it as it was in some sort of stock/Banger racing car

That is now removed And im trying to fit it all and get it lined up right then remove it so Radders can Paint it for me

Cool we got any more cages in saph's prefer bolt in but im so tempted to weld the bloody thing in Its just a case of painting the whole inside then

Ps can someone tell me how Easy it is to remove the head lining and does it leave any sticky glue ect on the roof when out

was curious as to the routing of the diagonals from bottom of A pillar to strut top, thanks for that

my cage should be delivered by back end of next week

there should be no or only a little bit og glue mate

its held up by one sticky pad at the back in the middle then the dorr seals etc hold the ret up if that helps

martinrs500labatts That last one is a great help as i can see how i got to cut my Dash as mine comes down the front in the same place Im not looking folward to doing that part of it tho As the dash is Very Clean

Its still not in the car right tho removed the rear half so i could get the front bars in right as it would'nt fit right , could'nt get the bar in that runs along the top of the screen But know is

Some pics of the mess i have made Tomorrow
