is this rouse cossie cheap?
no greg its a expensive car for a sierra
a rouse has nice seats and rear spoiler ( thats actually made of a shitty fibreglass and the proper cossie spoiler is actually harder wearing
)
its a fooking nicest color for a cossie ( though a rouse does look better in black but for the love of god dont tell DOO)
and finally for 11500 its well over priced for what it is and what there is available,,,,,,,, considering that it wasnt that well at selling when new
in a nutn shell the only people who would pay that for there cars are the people who bought there rouse's for 6 to 7k and like the idea there cars more money OR the poor arse fookers who have no cash in there account and so say they would buy it if they had the cash
the people with there cash would spend 11500 on the ugleyest car ever made after the metro
sorry im vauge but if i wrote what i really felt i know DOO would send me hate mail as punishment

smit you think the same as me,,,,,,,,,, but now ive got the spoiler and found out its just cheep fibreglass i honestly dont think there all that
for that cash they tried to sell the cars at they should have been made from the same material as ALL the other ford spoilers including the fiesta
they dont even say "ROUSE" on them either,,,,,,,, may aswell be a fooking cheep copy as theres no difference

Bit overpriced TBH but you try and find an other rouse for sale they don`y come up very often
prob only around 25 cars left.
it`s also got no boot badges or front splitter if it did it would be worth around 10k.
These cars can only go up in vaule now peeps forget these car where 30k plus when new most expensive rarest cosworth avab so will always be worth that little extra.
As for the body kit you love it or hate it
The bodykit is there for a reason benfits more cooling more down force larger side skirts to streamline the bodywork around the larger rear tyres.
Every added extra there for a reason and does the job a lot better.
As the car was re desighed to be the perfect cosworth road car by Andy Rouse and touring car engineers that built loads RS500 of race cars etc..
Ginge you love um really

My baby gay turbo runs 24psi and holds 22psi with no lag.
I don`t reckon it runs out of puff.
Your right you can get a nice 3 door or escort for that money but every one got one.
nice to have something diffrent from the rest IMO.
it was the fastest production cosworth on the market when new very few cars left now so you can name your price as theres no others for sale and if the cars clean and tidy and theres someone that wants a rouse it would sale.
most peeps i have spoken to at shows etc.. never even heard of a rouse before.

Extremely over-priced
. If Doo's car is the one that was originally from Norfolk (which then went to the guys at AMD?), then I was offered that in the mid nineties by the first owner for Ł5200
. I wish I had bought it, as it was then sold on for a LOT more than that
. Cost the original owner Ł27k new (or rather the lease company).

Last time I saw it, it was owned by someone of the same ethnic back ground as Sunny et al (how do you say that without sounding racist
), and had Escort Cosworth wheels on. I shared stand space with it back at Ford Fair in 1998
.

Mike car was owned by an Asian chap i got his name some where in a mag.
love to know why the fooker hacked the door cards to pieces to fit some JVC tweeters
Changed them now though
You should of bought it back then for 5k saying that most cossys where at give away prices with the insureance costs back then.
Car had a lot of work done at aladdin motorsport i think

Yep, that's the one. The original owner was an accountant for one of the well known companies that deals with receiverships, he got an M3 after that
. It was a lease car and he was offered it for Ł4k off the company (it had parking dints all over it, and HUGE mileage for the age
), hence why he offered it to me for a quick profit. At the time, I had the Moonstone Sapphire and didn't want the hassle of owning another one, as like you say they weren't fetching huge money and the bodywork needed a LOT of attention. I then saw it for sale a few months later for something like Ł7k (IIRC)
.
Someone bought it and spent an absolute fortune with Aladin getting it up to mint condition (as can be seen from the magazine article).

been to look at the car 2day the back end has been painted. there is overspray all over the car.look's nice on the pic's. not worth 11k cash.he told me that's what he's been offered.i told him i'd give him 7k for it and he just laughed.or well.i'll stick with the white one.
Perfect for an RS collecter or the type.
If someone has the money, time, and space to store the car for 10 years or so, he'll make a mint back on it when he sells, surely?
Personally... id have it, pitty i aint got 12k right enough
