Default RS Turbo Crank & Conrods

Is the crank and the conrods the same on the Escort RS Turbo as on the XR2I?

Reason for me asking is ive got Conrods and crank from a XR2I and was wondering if they can be used in the RS Turbo bottom end?

The crank is definitely different.

But the con rods are all the same.

No it's not. The Block and pistons are differnt, but crank and rods are the same.
