Simple question.. Im gon' buy a new set of ignition leads and spark plugs for my S2 ERST.. Which brands and sorts should i go for?? Dont wanna pay too much but gotta be good quality tho'

 

Genuine Ford Leads, And Genuine 071 Ford plugs.

 

really??.. i allways thought that the brands they sell at Burton and other tuning companys were better quality than genuine ford??

 

Hell no. Best ones ever were the Ford ones.


The rest are shit. Same goes for headgaskets. The ford one can handle mega boost, others give up at 20 odd psi

 

I used ford leads with ngk plugs and it ran faultlessly.

 

does'nt sound good with that headgasket tho'... i just replaced all gaskets in the upper half of my engine.. bought a complete set of PAYEN gaskets... hope they are good

well... my homie recommended me to buy standard cosworth plugs and Magnecor or Champion leads..

 

PAYEN gaskets are actually very good.
