oil pump problems

Default oil pump problems

i think i need a new oil pump!!
went for a blast the other day and when i pulled on the drive the oil light came on but the oil was at max on the dipstick.
so what is the easiest way on 4x4 saff be sides let some-one else do it!!

erm...let someone else do it!

think u have to drop the front subframe on the 4x4 to do it....could be wrong tho...

you sure its not the oil pressure sender switch?
when i had my sierra 4x4 turbo technics and drove it hard the oil light would quite often come on due to the oil being very hot and thinning out.
