i have had a grs ic on my car for a while now , but have never cleaned it , is it worth cleaning ? i dont want to take off the protective layer , once its polished im guessing it will become a weekly chore??

i just got a strutt brace from a freind and so i went and got some meguiars metal 'polysh' it claims to be able to protect as well, so guys does anyone clean their ic , and if so with what ?

how often do you have to do it though , thats what im wondering , ive never had to clean mine it says quite clean , a bit dull, but i think if i polished it, it would HAVE to be done regular ??

 

mine goes dull after a few days!, and it stays like it till i bother cleaning it again!!

 

hmm just as i thought , i dont think ill bother then......

mind you , your using autosol, i wonder what the meguiars is like , ive done a small spot round the back as a test. ill see how it goes....
