The site has been super quick the last few days


BUT




All this afternoon, its been very slow, 1 in 5 pages take over 30 seconds to load

Is it just me or any one else having the same issues ?

I am on BT 2 meg BB.

 

sorry pal but i can tell you it's only you. Site is as fast as ever, and logs on server show that no page has taken more than 4 seconds since at least 3 days

 

just realized... 30 seconds ????

I had issues with BT earlier with no pages being displayed for this site.

Others worked fine. Looks like it could be an issue with BT.

 

Just tried other sites and they are the same so it looks like its my end.

no probs pal, you're right to report any issue you're having ! it's like this and because of the members input that I finally managed to sort out the speed prob

Not as fast today as it was yesterday Pet. Earlier on this afternoon it was REALLY slow, like it was for SECS, but has speeded up a little this eve - still not as fast as yesterday.

Have cleared out all my cookies and temp files, and makes no odd's - tho to be fair, another site I use is also slow today (all others are fine tho) so maybe it's an exchange problem or something....

 

Nope everything is fine this afternoon, I was actually thinking it's been fast as fook!

 

Lol, I take it back - that reply and reloading of this thread took about 5 seconds

 

 

Im on BT broadband.

site is fast as fook! hasnt slowed down once - even at peak times since Pet upgraded the PHPBB software (about fucking time too! )

I keep trying to make it "fall over" but it wont!

 

Thrush, i can really swear that it's got the EXACT same speed as yesterday...
saying that it's REALLY SLOW sounds really impossible to me looking at the logs since 3 days

 

SimonT, i already said it : i did not only upgrade phpbb, i did a lot more work than this

10+ seconds to get into general discussion and 7 seconds to load this topic

 

think defo a bt prob as im on br 2meg and was having probs earlyer

 

please can other members report if speed is ok or not ?

Andy, i imagine you use BT as well? i tell ya... there HASN'T been any slow down, even the smallest !!!

That's a 4.6 seconds for FULL page & ALL image retrieval (page 'shows' VERY quickly indeed), my net monitor shows 99% delay on network, 1% on site

Yes mate im on BT.

Thinking back i was playing battlefield 2 online earlier and an error came up during the game saying "connection error" so it does look like a BT fault
