Default cossie clutch change

4x4 saph changing the clutch soon so gearbox out job

change clutch

gearbox oil

fit quickshift gear knuckle

any other things that could do with changing as they might be worn etc ?

bushes etc etc ?

Spadge, i got that kit, about Ł50 it cost.

could not be arsed fitting it.

spadge i saw this last night on ebay

what does the kit do exactly m8 ?

is thrust bearing same as release bearing ?

was a bit awkward to do.

Could not see how i could push out the metal outer edges of the bush.


the ones in was o.k though.

Hi mate
this kit replaces all the bushes that are in the gear linkage cradle!
The whole thing attaches to the gearbox via these bushes so if they are worn you will have a less positive feel to the gear change because there will be more play on the whole lot!
As far as i am aware the thrust bearing is another name for what most people call the release bearing yes!

A couple of sockets similar diameter to the metal part of the bushes and a vice are all that you need to get them out/in mate

Had them for about 1 1/2 years.
