Can anybody tell me if a L8 and a P8 ECU need to be plugged into a loom with a Lambda sensor or if they can be simply plugged into an existing 3Dr loom or early Sapphire loom? I know the TPS's are different but apart from that can it be done? as I want to use a L8 ecu into a regular loom along with a pectel baby board for greens which I already have!

What is it that is fitted to the green top sapphires? Thats what I mean as well as the escort ECU?

The TPS's are different as you say but also the wiring to them.You need to swap the outer 2 wires around.Other than that it is plug and play.

Green top is L8 with lambda control, EsCos is as you say P8 (although there were a few early EsCos' with L8)
