Got A S2 turbo with all interior removed including carpets sound deadning and every thing else that isnt useful. Its still a 1.6 at the mo with steel crank and rods, mahle low comp pistons, stage 3 saph cos 4x4 turbo capable of 470hp with 48 housing and 360 thrust bearing, the cars pushing about 200bhp, but the future holds - 2.1zvh, race spec head, race spec cams, anti pump lifters, lightened flywheel, quaife diff, quaife gearbox, stand alone management with cossie green injectors, water injection, Anti lag, carbon bonnet, carbon interior panels, polycarbonate windows, fibreglass boot and light weight wheels (compamotive mo's 16")

Hopefully this will make it one of the quickest
Im aiming for a reliable 300hp all day every day

Will keep every one posted on how its going

Rob

I have a fiberglass bonnet (with vents) and fiberglass tailgate with perspex for a Mk4 no longer needed. They are off my old rallycar and I now have a Mk3

Well they are no longer needed so who knows.

Made them myself ages ago moulded from a brand new bonnet and tailgate. Were used for rallying so do have bonnet pins fitted (which will be needed as there is no provision for a lock or catch - front and rear !! )

Starting to split a little in places now but nothing that couldn't be sorted out if you wanted to, just inject a bit of resin or filler into them to fix. Obviously no rust (lol) as they are fiberglass and have lived outside for the last 8 years.

Found a pic of the bonnet front - looks standard apart from the dodgy graphics and black pinstripe around the vents

Rear is unusual, in that it also has all the ribs to stop them flapping about and looking crap (a common fault) I even fitted the bonnet stay catch

Light as a feather Was offered over Ł60 a few years back for it
