ive bin in the garage (not as much as id like but i do work nights!)
and ive took me screen out (which smashed ) and ive found a bit more rot

i am doing biots to prepare for the welding (removing items etc)
so i took the bulkhead pad out to check to see how far it goes and found this little mess

which really made my day!!!!
other than that ive just bin cleaning and painting little bits like the front struts and bagging and tagging the wiring and bolts etc. oh yeah and i thought id show you all me engine just cos i never have so here goes

thats it for now so i'l try and update for tommorow.

 

mine was rusty there too mate i had a piece of bulkhead cut out from another can and welded it in place of the rusty piece i cut out of my bulkhead, problem solved

i also broke my windscreen taking it out didnt matter as it was fucked from all the grinding spraks that melted its surface

 

mine wasnt even showing signs til i took the screen out but like you i had spatter in my window from doing my sills.
where did you get a screen from?

 

not got a screen yet mate, was gonna try autoglass or somewhere like that while its in paintshop, could get them to fit it for me

 

what do you think to my silver with black and diamond cut wheels idea then? its gonna have an S1 kit as ive bought one and im gonna get the decals modified just want it to be an XR3i that stands out rather than a replica thats slower than a turbo. me ban depicts that me insurance is gonna be high at first but ne mind eh!!!

 

should look nie the way youre planning it to look, silver cars look rather tastey with dark wheels.
