My poor bad luck continues with the car this year as the gearbox decided its time to fall apart after just getting the engine back together.

Now is there anything out there under the 1k price bracket that can properly handle 300bhp - 300lb/ft?? and fit onto a cvh? i really want somthing to last longer than 1 or 2 events
At the moment if mine cant be repaired i'm looking at a Stage 2 CTS box. Anyone had experiance of these over a period of time?

Any ideas?

you'll have to get the stage two plus i broke my stage two stripped the teeth from the fifth gear but this was with 300+bhp plus nitrous

 

I've got a CTS stage 1 box and so far it has coped with 250bhp without complaint

I'm on box 13 should be unlucky but No. 13 is the only one to have lasted over a year

Sounds like Stage 2 CTS is the only option then?
